Kewlox offers several types of panels: acrylic, melamine-coated and raw MDF, glass, or mirror.

For acrylic and melamine-coated MDF panels, you can use standard cleaning products (non-aggressive), as they can withstand a reasonable level of humidity.

However, for raw MDF panels, avoid any contact with water or cleaning products to preserve their quality and durability.

Yes, it is possible.

To add compartments, simply keep the existing components, purchase the necessary spare parts (crosspieces, panels, etc.), and order corner brackets suited to the new height of the furniture.

To remove compartments, you need to disassemble the relevant parts and cut the corner brackets to the desired height.

It is recommended to visit a Kewlox store with the precise dimensions of the furniture. The team will then guide the customer and order the appropriate parts.

Yes, Kewlox offers wall-mounted furniture designed to be fixed to the wall. These pieces can have 1, 2, or 3 levels, but their total height should not exceed 1 meter, and their exterior depth should not exceed 42 cm to ensure stability.

Kewlox still manufactures most parts for models that are 30 years old. To check the availability of a specific part, it is recommended to consult the spare parts section or contact the sales department.

Most parts are available online through our webshop. However, some parts, such as corner brackets or intermediate shelves, cannot be ordered online. For these items, we recommend contacting our in-store staff, who can advise you and place the order for you.

The intermediate shelves rest on supports that fit against the sides of the furniture. Therefore, if the furniture does not have accessible sides (open sides), it cannot accommodate these shelves.

The intermediate shelves can be adjusted in height and depth according to your needs. For height, simply place the supports at one of the available levels (12.5 cm, 17.5 cm, or 22.5 cm). For depth, choose the shelf that corresponds to the desired depth (25, 32, 42, or 52 cm).

You can stack as many shelves as the height of your compartment allows, using the same system of notches and side supports, for optimal modularity.

The distance pieces of the fixed legs and adjustable legs fit into the corner brackets of the furniture, and these are then pinched to hold the legs in place when the furniture is liftedSince these feet are the first components to be inserted during assembly, replacing them requires completely disassembling the unit. The intermediate shelves can be adjusted in height and depth to suit your needs. To adjust the height, simply place the supports at one of the available levels (12.5 cm, 17.5 cm, or 22.5 cm). To adjust the depth, directly select the shelf corresponding to the desired depth (25, 32, 42, or 52 cm).

To calculate the total height of your furniture, you need to add the usable height of each compartment that makes up your furniture and then add 4 cm for each wooden crosspiece. If the furniture has feet, you will need to add 10 cm.

Total height = usable heights of compartments + number of crosspieces × 4

Example: A piece of furniture made of 4 compartments, each 37 cm high, and 5 crosspieces.

Total height = 37 + 37 + 37 + 37 + (5 × 4) = 168 cm.

Note: If your furniture has feet, don't forget to add their height to the final total.

The MIST shelves are pre-designed by the designer Julien Renault. They are intended as cohesive and balanced sets with fixed dimensions and configurations. While they are not customizable, their modular and timeless design allows them to fit easily into different spaces.

A standard Kewlox piece of furniture, 80 cm wide and 42 cm deep, can support up to 80 kg per level (with an evenly distributed weight).

For additional strength, it is possible to reinforce the crosspieces upon request.

Note: The choice of panels also affects the furniture's resistance.

If the project was designed in-store, a QR code and a reference number are included on the printed quote.

If the project was created online using the configurator, it can be saved by clicking the "Save" button: a project reference will then be provided. To find your furniture at any time, simply scan the QR code or enter the reference number in the search bar available in the menu on the kewlox.com website.

There are some maximum dimensions to be respected:

Maximum width: 120 cm for wooden structures

Maximum depth: 62 cm for wooden structures

Height: You can add as many compartments as you want. However, for heights over 2 meters, it is strongly recommended to secure the furniture to the wall for stability, depending on the depth and type of floor.

For wall-mounted furniture, the maximum height is 42 cm, which is the configuration designed to ensure a secure and durable installation.
